Day 1 – Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) /Dublin
Check in at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) for a connection flight for Dublin. Cross the International Date Line.
Day 2 – Dublin
Change the connection flight and arrive at Dublin, Ireland. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3 – Dublin
City tour and sightseeing includes Ha’ Peny Bridge, Old Parliament Houses, Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, St Patrick Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, National Museum, Drimnagh Castle, Malahide Castle, Kilkenny Castle.
Day 4 –Dublin/ Cork
Bus journey for one and half hour (in 101 miles) to see Rock of Cashel, built in 5th AD to 15th AD, the structures site includes the round high cross, Gothic cathedral, a castle and Hall of the Vicars Choral. Visit Cahir Castle in 13 miles, then drive 55 miles to see Blarney Castle, at County Cork.
Day 5 – Cork/Killarney
Visit St Fin Barre’s Cathedral in Cork. Then bus journey for 53 miles to Ring of Kerry, including Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Gardens, Ross Castle, St Mary Cathedral and other attractions. Muckross House and Gardens is an excellent two-hour stop. There are other attractions but worthy of a visit only if extra time is available, such as Lough Leane, Ladies View or Torc Waterfall.
Day 6 – Killarney/Bunratty Folk Park/Doolin
Bus journey for 80 miles to visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Drive for 40 miles to Cliff of Moher, please limit yourself to the main viewing point and the guard tower, but not to take the risk walking along the goat path by the cliffs’ edge. Visit Doolin Cave, home of the Great Stalactite.
Day 7 – Doolin/Bru na Boinne
Drive for 160 miles to visit Bru na Boinne, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dates back the 35th Century BC and predates the Egyptian pyramids. The site is a complex of chamber tombs, mounds, standing stones and the prehistoric enclosures.
Day 8- Bru na Boinne/Dublin
Visit Kilmainham Jail, the historical former prison that is now a museum. If you completed all the tour attractions listed on Day 3, the other tour attractions could include National Botanic Garden, St Stephen’s Green, Croke Park, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and Prazen Pub.
Day 9 – Dublin/Washington Dulles Airport (IAD)
Take connection flight to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
