Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Guatemala City
Check in at your Gateway International Airport for a connection flight to Guatemala City in Central America.
Day 2 – Guatemala City/Antigua
Change the connection flight and arrive at Guatemala City, the Capital of Guatemala. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel at Antigua, the old capital of Guatemala, and listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. City tour and sightseeing include the Capital General Palace, City Hall, Cathedral of Saint James San Jose Parish, Church and Convent of Capuchins, Church of San Francisco, La Merced Church, Church and School of the Society of Jesus, and Nuestra Senora del Carmen Church.
Day 3 – Antigua/Pacaya Volcano/Antigua
Bus excursion to visit Pacaya Volcano, an active complex volcano about 30 miles away from Antigua, stands over 8,000 feet high, with its last eruption in 2014, causing ash to rain down at the nearby area.
Day 4 – Antigua/Lanquin
Bus journey to Lanquin, a municipality of the Guatemalan Department of Alta Verapaz, runs Cahabon River to south, as the Natural Monument Semuo Champey.
Day 5 – Lanquin/Kanba/Lanquin
Visit the Kanba Caves, hike in the Natural Reserve to see the beautiful river view, even swim in the crystal pools of Semuc Champey, and take the tube floating back.
Day 6 – Lanquin/Flores
Bus journey to Flores, a town and municipality in Quetzaltenango department of Guatemala.
Day 7- Flores/Tikal/Flores
Bus excursion to Tikal, the ruin of the ancient city called as Yax Mutal, found in the rainforest, and it is the largest archaeological sites and urban center of the pre-Columbian Maya Civilization, and listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the temples and palaces at the archaeological site. Facing to the Great Plaza, between Temple 32 and 32, in front of the North Platform, the Temple 33 is a 108 feet high ancient Maya funerary pyramid, and is the most thoroughly explored there.
Day 8 – Flores/Antigua
Bus journey return to Antigua. Shopping for the gifts and souvenir before the end of the trip.
Day 9 – Antigua/Guatemala City/Gateway Airport Home
Connection flight to the Gateway Airport home, you arrive on same day.
