Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Vientiane
Check in at your International Airport for connection flight for Vientiane. Cross the International Date Line.
Day 2 – Vientiane
Arrive at Vientiane, the capital of Laos. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to hotel.
Day 3 – Vientiane
Full day city tour and sightseeing include the Oldest Wat Sisaket, the Temple with Thousands of Miniature Buddha Statues and the former Royal Temple of Wat Prakeo, the sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, and the Arc de Triumph.
Day 4 – Vientiane/Xieng Khouang/Phone Savanh
Fly to Xieng Khouang. Bus journey to visit the Plain of Jars at Phone Savanh. Also visit the nearby villages, home to the Hmong Hill Tribe and Tai Dam people.
Day 5 – Phone Savanh/Sala Phoukhoun/Luang Prabang
Morning visit to Central Market to watch different Hill Tribes to barter and exchange merchandises. Bus journey to see a Buddha Image Site over 200 years old in Thampra. Continue to pass varied hill tribe minority villages on road and take a stop at Sala Phoukhoun. Late in the afternoon Arrive at Luang Prabang, listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 6 – Luang Prabang
Full day city tour and sightseeing include the National Museum, the impressive Wat Visoun Stupa and the Wat Aham Shrine, Wat Mai Monastery, Wat Xieng Thong, climb to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred Gilded Stupa and a beautiful view of Mekong River. Return to visit the Street Night Market.
Day 7 – Luang Prabang
Bus excursion to visit the beautiful Kuang Si Fall. On return, make short stop at Black Hmong Village, see the working on handmade textile.
Day 8- Luang Prabang/Vientiane
Enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River and get a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha Statues. Stop at Ban Xanghai to see the local distilled rice wine, and stop at Ban Xiang Khong to see hand weaving. Fly to Vientiane. Shopping on gifts and souvenir before the end of trip.
Day 9 – Vientiane/Gateway Airport Home
Take the connection flight to your Gateway Airport home, where you will arrive on the same day.
