Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Mexico City
Check in at your Gateway International Airport for a connection flight to Mexico City in Mexico.
Day 2 – Mexico City
Change the connection flight and arrive at Mexico City, the Capital of Mexico. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 3 – Mexico City
City tour and sightseeing include the Church of the Holy Family, with the tomb of the beautified Fray Miguel Agustin Pro and the Metropolitan Cathedral, the oldest and largest cathedral in Latin America. Also visit the National Palace, featuring impressive murals by famous artist Diego Rivera, the 18th Century Santo Domingo Church and Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary.
Day 4 – Mexico City/Teotihuacan
Bus journey to Teotihuacan. En route, we make stop at the Plaza of the Three Cultures, as Tenochtitlan, Spanish and modern Mexico. Continue to see the Shrine of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas, visiting the old temple, built in 18th Century, in reverence of the Virgin Mary, admiring the new cathedral. Also visit the Church of The Fifth Apparition of the Virgin Mary of the Guadalupe and the 16th Century Monastery of San Agustin.
Day 5 – Teotihuacan/Ocotlan/Puebla
Visit the relics of Mayan civilization, Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Avenue of the Dead, and the Quetzalcoatl Temple. Bus journey to visit Our Lady of Ocotlan. Arrive at Puebla.
Day 6 – Puebla/Tepoztlan/Cuernavaca/Taxco
Explore the colonial city of Puebla, including the Cathedral of Santa Monica, Rosary Chapel, and other baroque palaces, monasteries and mansions. Bus journey to visit Cathedral of Cuernavaca, and visit the magic city Tepozteco at the foot of mountain, with its 16th Century Convent of Dominico de la Natividad, listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive at Taxco, the Silver Capital of the World.
Day 7- Taxco/Acapulco
Visit the Church of Santa Prisca. After Taxco city tours, bus journey to arrive at the coastal city Acapulco.
Day 8 – Acapulco
See the Chapel of Peace, mural by Diego Rivera, and ocean diving.
Day 9 – Acapulco/Gateway Airport Home
Connection flight to the Gateway Airport home, you arrive on same day.
